The trek will start at Phablu. Via Kharikhola, the homevillage of our friend Ngima, the team will head for Mera peak base camp, which will be reached after 11 days. From there, the skis will be taken of the packs. If everything goes according to plan, we'll make 5 nice tracks from the summit of Mera (6476 m) all the way down to Konghmo Dingma.From Mera we'll head north to cross the challenging Amphu Lapcha pass before arriving on the foot of Island Peak (Imja Tse). After attempting to summit Island Peak (6189 m) we'll trek back through the heart of Sherpa land to Lukla. From Lukla a small plane will bring us back to Kathmandu.
